Opis stanowiska

Duties: 

  • Overall responsibility of the H&S area,
  • Advise company members on all aspects of Health & Safety,
  • Implement practical and effective methods, both preventative and remedial, of promoting health and safety and safe working practices in the workplace,
  • Conduct/organize relevant health and safety training for staff as required,
  • Conduct all “risk assessments” as required by legislation and are reviewed at relevant intervals and to maintain records of the same,
  • Conduct & carryout internal and compliance audits of all company sites; report on findings and manage issue log through to completion,
  • To carry out investigations into all accidents and near-miss incidents and to record the findings on the relevant forms,
  • Advise the Management and Project Managers on site on H&S area,
  • Keep up to date with changes in current legislation and implement such changes where relevant,
  • Create reports as per company standard.

Wymagania

Requirements:

  • Higher technical degree or postgraduate studies in H&S,
  • At least 10 years of experience in H&S and min 5+ years’ experience in Construction sector,
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing the team of H&S Specialists,
  • Solid knowledge of ISO 45001 security management system requirements and auditing,
  • Practical, very good knowledge of current H&S and Fire regulations,
  • Successful track record on implementation of H&S standards, procedures & policies,
  • Experience in cooperation with organization Porozumienie dla Bezpieczeństwa w Budownictwie will me an advantage,
  • Valid license of Fire Protection Inspector will me an advantage,
  • Very good knowledge of English (fluent both writing & speaking),
  • Well organized,
  • Professional and their approach while working with internal and external staff,
  • Appreciation of confidentiality and discretion,
  • Strong organizational or administrative skills with attention to detail and a methodical approach,
  • The ability to communicate clearly and confidently with a range of people, both on the phone and face-to-face,
  • Strong teamwork skills are essential, ability to work as a team leader and manage team work,
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word).
