You will have a professional and friendly manner and be able to establish good working relationships within the Biodiversity and Communication team, and with colleagues throughout the organisation as well as with external stakeholders. You will have good contacts in the Polish media and understand the importance of forming and maintaining strong relationships with journalists and partners in other EU countries. You will be committed to environmental issues.

Opis stanowiska
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced, creative and self-motivated Communication and Policy Officer to join our Wildlife team in Warsaw. The Communication and Policy Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing communication, campaign and policy plans relevant to Polish and pan-European biodiversity issues, including strategic litigation cases – this will include media engagement, use of social media and undertaking stakeholder outreach. As we are now seeking to expand our work in Eastern Europe, the Officer will also help identify and analyse policy issues connected to wildlife protection in relevant geographies, and provide public relations advice.You will have a professional and friendly manner and be able to establish good working relationships within the Biodiversity and Communication team, and with colleagues throughout the organisation as well as with external stakeholders. You will have good contacts in the Polish media and understand the importance of forming and maintaining strong relationships with journalists and partners in other EU countries. You will be committed to environmental issues.
Wymagania
Education and training:- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Academic or professional qualification in journalism or public relations will be an advantage.
- At least someexperience as a communications/policyspecialist or journalist.
Oferujemy
Salary bracket for this role is 6,000 – 7,300 PLN gross per month depending on experience.Inne informacje
